Not too bulky, compared to twins BGV元 and lot of other 16oz Thai gloves (i have a small frame so it looks like Mickey Mouse hands on me + bulky gloves make too easy to block punches, and much harder to go around a block, so quite unrealistic) Pillow padding on the knuckles not to hurt my partners, compared to the padding in BGV1 that is way too thin imo Snug hand compartment (but still can put wraps on), compared to the larger compartment on BGV1. I'm 180cm and 77kg, but have smallish hands and very thin wrists (14-15cm), and BGV16 was by far the better option for me: So then I've been looking for a good 16oz gloves. Personally I have twins BGV元 in 12oz for pads bag and drills, and I've been using them a bit for light sparring in my gym, but I obviously can't do harder sparring. I currently own the Revgear S5 All-Rounders at 16oz, but the two nitpicks I have with them are that they're (IMO) very forward-heavy and the hand compartment is too large for my liking. Yokkao seems to just have the worse quality compared to the 3 I've mentioned so I stayed away from them, and I've also tried to stay away from "western" Thai-glove brands like Combat Corner, Venum, or Sanabul for the reason that they construct gloves for westerners, which in theory, would mean a larger hand compartment (since I'm also Asian lol). I've read that the Windy BGVH suffers the same thing as the Fairtex BGV1 in having a large hand compartment. Although the Twins BGVL-3 also has a small hand compartment, the padding seems very large and clunky, especially at the 16oz weight. (Everything I'm in this paragraph comes from looking at online videos & internet reviews but no actual IRL fitting from myself in stores since there are none in my area, so please do share your opinions still on glove recommendations and how they personally fit on y'all): I was looking at the Fairtex BGV1, but they didn't have a grip bar (which to me sounds off as I've always had grip bars in all my gloves) + have been told that the hand compartment is spacious, so then I looked at the Fairtex BGV16 model which is supposed to be more compact but didn't like the colors (which isn't a big deal really, I just wanted to hear other people's opinions before making a purchase). Please feel free to also share how the gloves feel on your hands personally! I'd prefer a snug-fitting pair with evenly distributed weight/padding w/o feeling hindered to spar in. I'm 5'7'' 135 lbs w/ a hand size of 7 1/8 inches from the tip of my middle finger to my wrist, 3.25-3.5 inches across my knuckles when making a closed fist or natural palm, and a wrist circumference of 6.5-7 inches. TLDR - I'm looking for new pair of 16 oz gloves for Muay Thai/MMA.
